Be Hold and Be Still

I titled my new painting “behold and be still.”

It’s hard to be still these days.

I mean, the REAL peace and calmness comes from being still in the truth.

I know, sister. We all struggle silently.

You will never know what kind of internal enemy the person next to you is fighting.

But we must, must take some time each day, take a deep breath, just say to our Father:

“Father, lead me back to you, please. I have been running in a thousand directions today, and now I need you to pull me back to you. Reaffirm the things you said to me and the promise you made to me. Tell me again that everything will be ok. And everything WILL be ok.”

With that, we will find peace and gratitude.

So hope this painting captured that spirit. And hope your day is filled with His protection and blessing, dear friend.

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
