Today, I’d like to share with you one of my favorite passages in the Bible:
“Once, in a vision, you spoke to those who worship you. You said, “I have given strength to a warrior; I have raised up a young man from my people. I have found my servant David; I appointed him by pouring holy oil on him. I will steady him with my hand and strengthen him with my arm. No enemy will make him give forced payments, and wicked people will not defeat him. I will crush his enemies in front of him; I will defeat those who hate him. My loyalty and love will be with him. Through me, he will be strong. I will give him power over the sea and control over the rivers. He will say to me, ‘You are my father, my God, the Rock, my Savior.’ I will make him my firstborn son, the greatest king on earth. My love will watch over him forever, and my agreement with him will never end. I will make his family continue, and his kingdom will last as long as the skies.”
Psalms 89:19-29 NCV
Just like David, a man after God’s own heart. God has called us in this way. Not only as his beloved daughter’s, but as his warriors.
God longs for us to see all he holds for us. He longs for us to walk into the role of a warrior of the Highest. To walk into the gifts, he has for us. (1 Corinthians 12 NLT). All the amazing things are waiting for us as a believer.
So are you ready to put the full armor of God on (Ephesians 6:10-18 NLT) and walk into all God has for you?
To walk in boldness and with the mindset, “I am a child of God.” He knows my name, and He loves me. Walk in the promise of Psalms 91. Walk with the faith that God goes before you and make a way where there is no way. Walk in joy that God is about to do something new in you.
The first step is reading his word. So enjoy the Scriptures and allow God to share with you all that he holds in the palm of his hand, if only you would just reach out and grab it.
With love and prayers.
