December Note to Myself-and Anyone Who Can Relate

Take time to reflect on your day. It’s so easy to subconsciously numb out to the raw inescapable realities of life.

Recall the anxieties that weighed you down. Were you able to surrender them and overcome them or is there still work needed to be done there?

Reflect on your triggers. Did you handle them the same old way or did you stop, breathe and choose differently?

Revive your broken heart. It doesn’t have to stay crushed. You have an almighty Healer and Comforter and His name is Jesus. He sees each tear that falls. He hears you when you call. 

Renew your mind. This world throws a lot at you. Holidays are emotional. Take each moment and live there. 

Be present. Feel your chest rise with each breathe. Relax your jaw. Close your eyes and remember God’s blessings. Remember. 

You got this. He’s doing a good work in you and if you haven’t heard it yet today, I’m proud of you.
