My new painting is titled ”The Echo Within.”
Like submerging under water’s silent pressure, our emotional pressure tends to force us to quiet down and look deeper into our own minds and soul. Consequently, many new self-discoveries will emerge.
Isn’t it intriguing?
We need to submerge in order to emerge.
We need to surrender in order to gain victory.
Pressure brings out our motivation to face the problems we usually like to run away from. Like a lemon being squeezed, the process is not pretty, but it’s necessary. And we will appreciate the squeezing afterward.
God will often let us go through a similar process to help us grow.
Isaiah 48:10 says, “Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tried you in the furnace of affliction.”
It’s called refinement.
Don’t you want to be pure as silver and precious as gold? Here is the furnace, and here you go.
Embrace the refinement process, friends, and see it from another perspective. Sometimes it hurts your heart. And sometimes you will feel the pressure is so much that you can’t breathe. But it all will be ok in the end, and every single tear and sweat of yours will be worth it.
